Meet Our Team

M. Shazad Wada, M.D.

After graduating from Emory University with a degree in Chemistry, Dr. Wada earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He then completed a surgical internship at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu and a residency and fellowship in anesthesiology and pain management at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. Dr. Wada has conducted research with the National Institutes of Health’s National Institutes of Neurological Disorders and Strokes. He is board-certified in both anesthesiology and pain medicine.

Ravi Dammanna, M.D.

Dr. Dammanna is a board-certified anesthesiologist and fellowship-trained interventional pain physician. After completing his internship in general surgery at the University of South Alabama Medical Center, he completed an anesthesiology residency and later an Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. There, he trained extensively in regional anesthesia and pain management procedures.

Kenneth Joel, M.D.

After graduating from the University of Georgia, Dr. Joel proceeded to the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. He remained in Augusta to complete an internship at Eugene Talmadge Memorial Hospital before transitioning to Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. While at Vanderbilt, Dr. Joel completed an Anesthesiology residency immediately followed by a fellowship with concentrations in chronic pain management and OB anesthesia.

Board Certified in both Pain Management and Anesthesiology, Dr. Joel has served patients in various capacities. He is a former Chairman for the North Fulton Hospital’s Department of Anesthesia and previously served as the Medical Director for the Pain Control Center.

An active physician in the medical community, Dr. Joel is a member of numerous professional associations, including the American Medical Association, American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Pain Society and the International Association of the Study of Pain. He has also presented on a range of topics related to pain management including Diagnosing and Treating Chronic Pain, New Modalities in the Treatment of Pain, Pharmacology and Physiology of Therapeutic Agents in Chronic Pain Management, and Addiction versus Dependence.

Gillon Hall, FNP-C

After graduating from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing in 2015, Gillon worked at WellStar Cobb Hospital as a registered nurse in acute care. While working there, she decided to expand her education and began to pursue her master’s degree. She graduated from South University with honors in 2019 and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. As a new nurse practitioner, she worked at a small health and wellness clinic in Atlanta before joining our team in 2022.

We opened the doors to our new state-of-the-art facility in Alpharetta, GA in July 2018.
